Begin your journey from Hanoi as the driver and tour guide pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter and head 110 km south to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, where you'll explore two temples built in honor of Emperors Dinh, Le, their sons, and the Queen, while learning why Hoa Lu was chosen as the capital in the late 9th century. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant featuring authentic regional cuisine. After lunch, board a small sampan for a scenic 1.5-hour boat trip through Tam Coc, which means “three caves.” This area offers breathtaking Halong Bay-style views with majestic limestone cliffs, mysterious caves, peaceful streams, rice paddies, and tranquil green fields—perfect for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. Next, visit Mua Cave and trek to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain for panoramic views of the stunning rice valley and surrounding nature. Those who choose not to trek can wait for about 45 minutes while others explore. (Note: An additional entrance fee of $5 per person applies for Mua Cave.) Finally, return to the bus and head back to Hanoi, with drop-off at your hotel marking the end of the trip.

Start your Hanoi City exploration with a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century and located by West Lake. Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can view Ho Chi Minh’s embalmed body, walk through the peaceful gardens, and see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Then, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique structure dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Visitors should dress modestly, covering shoulders to knees, when entering the mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. Note that Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays and remains closed for maintenance from June 15 to August 15, though the exterior area can still be visited. Next, explore the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. If the museum is closed on a Monday, the tour will instead take you to the Women's Museum. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, founded in the 11th century. The final stop is the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, originally used by French colonists for political prisoners and later by North Vietnam to house American POWs during the Vietnam War, who referred to it as the "Hanoi Hilton." The tour concludes with a return to your hotel.

~ 08:00 You can choose the pick-up location (at 08:00) at your hotel or the Opera House. ~ Continue to travel to Ha Long Bay by car, and then embark on the beautiful journey with cruising boat through Ha Long Bay. ~ The cruise will take you to Surprise Cave, located deep at the heart of Bo Hon Island. This grotto honors its ‘Surprise’ name thanks to its unique ability to convey the true jaw-dropping feeling of every tourist within the very first step into the cave. Its sheer enormous size has made the cave to become a live theater, which reveals to the world various kinds of stalactite formation, forged through thousands of years by the wonder of time. The brilliant and colorful lights inside the cavern have made its gigantic rooms appear like a completely new world of its own. ~ Resume the journey to Tip Top Island to enjoy the most natural and well-preserved soft sand beach. Dive drive in the clean and fresh water if you want to escape the heat of the day. If you are not a sun-seeking type and would like to enjoy something else besides lying down on the beach’s lounge, do not hesitate to walk around the island and enjoy a stunning 360-degree view of the surroundings. ~ In the afternoon, head on to Fighting Cock Islet, the most recognizable symbol of Ha Long tourism. The islet is named after its natural aesthetic and pleasing shapes of incidental rock formation, which looks like two fiery cocks fighting one another above the watery arena. A marvelous moment to seize in your lovely memory. ~ After that, you will sail back to the harbor and travel by car back to Ha Noi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the House Opera.

At 08:00 – Pick up at your hotel in Da Nang/Hoi An and travel by car to the Marble Mountains. ~ The Marble Mountain is a collection of five different marble outcrops, each named after the fundamental elements that form the harmonic balance in the Vietnamese people’s beliefs. They are in the sequence of Kim Son (metal) – Moc Son (Wood) – Thuy Son (Water) – Hoa Son (Fire) and Tho Son (Earth). There are various pagodas and interweaving caves inside the mountain’s range. Nonetheless, you will take an elevator to reach the summits for the slamming grand view. To soak up all the graceful delights of Hoi An, you will start to explore Phuc Kien Communal House, the temple built in 1679 by the locals as a rite to worship their goddess. Continue to Tan Ky ancient commercial house, the amazing masterpiece of construction is the ultimate condense of Chinese and Japanese architectural quintessences. Speaking of the Japanese style of ornament, it will be a mistake not to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, built as a gateway to connect to the Chinese quarter by the Japanese community in the early era. The bridge is well-preserved to its original appearance and architectural curve design.
