Train from Interlaken to Visp: Take a train from Interlaken Ost to Visp. This journey typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Train from Visp to Zermatt: From Visp, change to the regional train that goes directly to Zermatt. Zermatt is a car-free village, so this train is the primary mode of access. This leg takes approximately 1 hour. Explore Zermatt Village: Upon arrival in Zermatt, your Swiss Pass covers travel within the village by local electric buses. You can walk through the charming streets, admire the traditional wooden chalets, and enjoy the car-free atmosphere. Visit Attractions : Consider visiting the Matterhorn Museum (entry fees not covered by Swiss Pass) to learn about the village's history and mountaineering, or the Parish Church of St. Mauritius.
