Zones in Universal Studios Singapore

Universal Studios Singapore offers 7 immersive zones, each curated around a theme or iconic movie franchises. Here’s a quick breakdown:

1. Minion Land

Say ‘bello’ to the newest zone in Universal Studios: the Minion Land.  It’s finally here and how: very exciting, refreshing and will definitely make you nostalgic about your childhood. Enter into colourful chaos, and catch the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride, themed eateries, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. A family favourite.

Star Attractions/Rides: Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, a 3D motion simulator family-friendly ride

2. Far Far Away

Far Far Away is where a 4D adventure is waiting for you. Dedicated to the Kingdom of Shrek, this theme park features a 40-metre-tall and massive Far Far Away castle. Meet stars from the Shrek movies, ride the enchanted airways, attend the Donkey live show, climb the Magic potion spin- a miniature Ferris wheel and explore so much more that you’ll remember long after it ends.

Star Attractions/Rides: A highlight here is the Puss in Boots’ Giant Journey. It’s a thrilling family ride that kids love and even give a break from high-speed coasters to the adults.

3. The Lost World

This zone in Universal Studios Singapore is divided into two distinct sections: Jurassic Park and WaterWorld, both delivering different kinds of excitement. Brave the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure (and expect to get wet), ride the Canopy flyer or catch the WaterWorld stunt show. With fast-moving jet skis, timed explosions, and sharp stunt choreography, it's easy to say why it is one of the easiest crowd-pullers in the park.

Tribe Travel Tip: Bring a poncho to stay dry, but chances are you’ll still leave with a few splashes.

4. Ancient Egypt

This zone feels exactly how the sets of The Mummy feels like. It takes you back to 1920s Egypt where hieroglyph-covered walls, robed guards, and massive statuses set the scene. It’s atmospheric and thrilling but the real draw is the Revenge of the Mummy,  the park's scariest indoor coaster.

5. Sci-Fi City

Meet the future at the Sci-Fi City where high stakes, adrenaline-pumping fast-paced rides give all the thrills in a heavily-themed environment with metal-structures and glowing lights.  Meet characters from the Transformers franchise and try the most talked about rides including Battlestar Galactica.

Tribe Travel Tip: Come early; queues build fast.

6. Hollywood

Hollywood is the zone which feels immediately lively with its bright streets, music and movie-style atmosphere. Snap easy photos, spot characters and enjoy the park even before the bigger rides begin. Hop at shops, snack stops and enjoy short live performances that keep the area fun without feeling rushed.

7. New York Zone

New York feels like walking through a movie set, with classic city streets and plenty happening around you. The main attraction here is Lights, Camera, Action! special effects show. You will also find street entertainment and character appearances that make the zone feel active throughout the day. Fun, easy, and worth a walk-through.

FAQs

What Is the Scariest Ride at Universal Studios Singapore?

ExpandCollapse

The Revenge of the Mummy takes the top spot — a high-speed indoor roller coaster that hurls you through a darkened haunted tomb filled with mummies, bats, and spiders.

Is Universal Studios Singapore Worth It?

ExpandCollapse

Absolutely, it's one of Asia's best theme parks and a must-visit, especially if you're travelling with family or thrill-seekers.

Is 4 hours enough for Universal Studios Singapore?

ExpandCollapse

Four hours is workable, but not ideal. To make the most of a short visit, prioritise the biggest rides and catch at least one live show. If your schedule allows, plan for 5–6 hours. That gives you breathing room to explore all seven zones without feeling rushed.
