Start your Hanoi City exploration with a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century and located by West Lake. Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can view Ho Chi Minh’s embalmed body, walk through the peaceful gardens, and see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Then, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique structure dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Visitors should dress modestly, covering shoulders to knees, when entering the mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. Note that Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays and remains closed for maintenance from June 15 to August 15, though the exterior area can still be visited. Next, explore the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. If the museum is closed on a Monday, the tour will instead take you to the Women's Museum. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, founded in the 11th century. The final stop is the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, originally used by French colonists for political prisoners and later by North Vietnam to house American POWs during the Vietnam War, who referred to it as the "Hanoi Hilton." The brilliant and colorful lights inside the cavern have made its gigantic rooms appear like a completely new world of its own. ~ Resume the journey to Tip Top Island to enjoy the most natural and well-preserved soft sand beach. Dive drive in the clean and fresh water if you want to escape the heat of the day. If you are not a sun-seeking type and would like to enjoy something else besides lying down on the beach’s lounge, do not hesitate to walk around the island and enjoy a stunning 360-degree view of the surroundings. ~ In the afternoon, head on to Fighting Cock Islet, the most recognizable symbol of Ha Long tourism. The islet is named after its natural aesthetic and pleasing shapes of incidental rock formation, which looks like two fiery cocks fighting one another above the watery arena. A marvelous moment to seize in your lovely memory. ~ After that, you will sail back to the harbor and travel by car back to Ha Noi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the House Opera.

After learning about the basic process of making a pottery product, you will be handed clay and tools to make for yourself one. ~ One the way back to Ha Noi, we can stop at some ceramic stores along the road in the village to buy or just have a look of colorful and high-quality ceramic objects.
