We will begin our tour at the top of one of the beautiful hills of the city, and from here we will enter the castle complex where we will be amazed by the beauty of the St. Vitus Cathedral, the master halls of the Royal Palace, the Interior of the Basilica of San Jorge and charming corners of the Golden Lane. We will descend along the Royal Road to reach the Small Town square with the imposing church of San Nicolas. The cottages in this alley were originally built for the castle’s sharpshooters, but later housed goldsmiths. In later centuries artists like Franz Kafka lived there. Examine the reconstructed workshops and homes of the Golden alley. See how the working people of Prague lived in the shadow of the castle. MEETING POINT INSTRUCTIONS: Meet directly in front of the exit of the Malostranská metro station, where there is a small water fountain (covered during winter). You will see a brown and white sign stating ''meeting point''. Subway directions: after taking the second escalator from the subway, go left. Tram directions: after getting off at the Malostranská stop, cross the street and head toward the subway stop Malostranská.
