Boracay’s nightlife did not disappear after the 2018 clean-up. Clubs, bars and live music are still part of the evening scene, but they now operate under stricter rules.
- Fire dancers: You can usually see performances in front of the Station 2 bars in the evening. A tip of around ₱50 to ₱100 is common.
- Live music: Acoustic performances continue along the beach path through the evening.

- Beach rules: Drinking on the open sand is not allowed, and venues must keep it within their licensed areas.
- Where to go: Station 2 has the liveliest late evening scene, while Stations 1 and 3 are generally much quieter at night.
What Are The Rules On The Sand?
This is one of the rules that catches many visitors off guard, and the fines are real. The easiest way to remember it is simple: the vegetation line is the boundary. Behind it, inside a licensed venue, you can usually drink and dine as normal. On the open Boracay beach in front of it, these activities are not allowed.

When Should You Plan Your Boracay Beach Day?
Timing matters in Boracay because the wind changes direction during the year, affecting which side of the island has calmer water. This is something many visitors do not realise before booking.
